Inspiration

The famous painter, sculptor, and ceramicist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983).

Joan was a Catalan artist who combined abstract art with Surrealist fantasy. His mature style evolved from the tension between his fanciful, poetic impulse and his vision of the harshness of modern life. He worked extensively in lithography and produced numerous murals, tapestries, and sculptures for public spaces.

Front Panel Pattern

Here there will be numerous curves touching on different points etc, the darts have already been removed in the pattern. Therefore the garment will have no darts in the main fabric and will as a result require several notches and a small seam allowance.

Back Panel Pattern

On the other side there will be a zipper closure and a few corners in the pattern. The corners will have a standard seam allowance and will be interfaced at the points. (The left shoulder seam will also have a button closure).
